Crocus Project Grows Living Memorial for Students Lost During the Holocaust |
This spring, crocuses bloomed outside Shaler Area Middle School, planted as part of the Crocus Project, which seeks to have a yellow crocus bloom for each of the school children who died during the Holocaust.
The project originated in Ireland in 2005 and has spread around the world, with its powerful message.
